Dr. Güder designs and approves your hairline on every package and supervises extraction and channel opening. On the Platinum and Diamond packages he places the grafts himself. On Gold, implantation is carried out by his trained team under his direct supervision.

For FUE and DHI the donor area at the back and sides is usually shaved so grafts can be extracted evenly. For suitable cases there is unshaven FUE, where only a discreet strip of the donor area is trimmed. Whether the recipient area needs trimming depends on your current hair length and is discussed at your consultation.

All three move your own follicles from the donor area to the thinning areas. In FUE, grafts are placed into channels opened beforehand, and Sapphire FUE opens those channels with sapphire blades for finer incisions. DHI uses a Choi implanter pen that opens the channel and places the graft in one movement, giving close control of angle and depth. Dr. Güder recommends the method that suits your hair and goals.

FUE leaves tiny, dot-like marks where each unit was extracted instead of a linear scar. Once the donor hair grows back they are generally not visible, even with fairly short hair.

Most FUE sessions take most of a day, depending on the number of grafts. You return to your hotel the same evening.

Yes. FUE is well suited to the crown and mid-scalp, where larger numbers of grafts are needed and the natural swirl of the hair has to be recreated.

Sapphire FUE is a refinement of FUE rather than a different procedure. Sapphire blades allow very fine, precise channels, which helps with dense, natural placement. Your result still depends mostly on planning and graft handling, so Dr. Güder recommends it where it brings a real benefit.

Smaller incisions mean less trauma to the scalp, which supports comfortable healing. The overall timeline is similar to FUE: desk work after 3 to 5 days and the final result at 12 to 18 months.

The donor area is usually trimmed for extraction. Because DHI places grafts between existing hairs, the recipient area can often stay unshaved; this is decided at consultation.

DHI is slower per graft, so very large sessions are often better done with FUE or Sapphire FUE, or with DHI for the hairline and FUE elsewhere.

DHI gives fine control over angle and depth, which is valuable along the hairline. FUE with careful channel opening can also give an excellent hairline. Dr. Güder chooses the method based on your hair.

With unshaven FUE most of your hair stays long, so the trimmed donor zone and the healing recipient area are largely hidden. Some redness may be visible up close for the first one to two weeks.

Fewer than in a shaved procedure, because working between long hair takes longer. Unshaven FUE is best for smaller sessions, and your photos show whether it can cover what you need.

The procedure is done under local anaesthesia delivered with a needle-free, air-pressure system, so you should not feel pain during the operation. Some tightness and mild soreness for a few days afterwards is normal and is managed with the medication in your aftercare kit.

Most patients return to desk work within 3 to 5 days. Redness and small scabs usually settle within 10 to 14 days, and strenuous exercise should wait 2 to 3 weeks. The transplanted hairs shed between weeks 2 and 4, which is normal. New growth starts around months 3 to 4, and the full result shows at 12 to 18 months.

Transplanted hair is usually long-lasting. Grafts are taken from the back and sides of the head, where follicles tend to be resistant to the hormone behind male pattern hair loss, so in most patients they keep growing over the long term. Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed. Hair that was not transplanted can continue to thin over time, which is why Dr. Güder may also suggest treatment to protect it.

You leave with an aftercare kit containing special shampoo, lotion and medication, plus written instructions. Your first wash is done at the clinic. After you fly home, the team reviews your progress by photo at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months and is available on WhatsApp throughout.

Plan for three days: arrival, then consultation and procedure, then a first wash and check-up before you fly home. The Gold and Platinum packages include two hotel nights and Diamond includes three.

Every package includes the procedure at Acıbadem Hospital, needle-free anaesthesia, PRP, pre-op blood tests, medication and an aftercare kit, hotel nights, transfers between the airport, hotel and hospital, and 12 months of follow-up. Packages differ in who places the grafts, hotel board and extras such as exosome therapy. Flights are not included.

It depends on your pattern of hair loss, the density of your donor area and the coverage you want. Most procedures fall between 2,000 and 5,000 grafts. After you send your photos you receive a personal estimate, which Dr. Güder confirms in person before the procedure.
